Beauty and Wellness Consultant

About the role

The Beauty and Wellness Consultant maximizes sales and brand awareness by delivering exceptional, personalized customer care in a friendly and professional manner. You will inspire customers with beauty knowledge, provide mini‑makeovers and skincare consultations, and ensure a delightful in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers, greet them, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate beauty and wellness products and services.
• Conduct product demonstrations, skin‑hydrometer assessments, and mini‑makeovers while maintaining hygiene standards for testers.
• Drive in‑store events, promote owned brands, and build lasting relationships through omni‑channel solutions.
• Achieve sales targets by link‑selling, up‑selling, and processing transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain a clean, organized department and follow asset‑protection and regulatory compliance procedures.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of retail sales experience, preferably in beauty or cosmetics.
• Strong product knowledge, ability to meet sales goals, and willingness to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred: Cosmetology or Esthetician license, makeup application experience, and beauty school education.

Required skills

• Proficient PC/tablet operation for product lookup and sales processing.
• Use of a Skin Hydrometer for skin assessments.
• Cash register operation and familiarity with store systems.
