Bartender - Toyota Pavilion at Concord

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Concessions Bartender for the Toyota Pavilion at Concord. The bartender provides positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. The role involves serving drinks, checking IDs, handling cash and keeping the bar area clean and stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests, and serve drinks in line with company standards
• Mix cocktails and other bar beverages using high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices
• Provide information on wine characteristics, suggest wines and serve them using proper wine service techniques
• Check guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol
• Handle an assigned bank, collect payments and balance receipts
• Work with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes, and keep the bar stocked and organized
• Serve food items to guests seated at the bar
• Keep the work area clean and organized, sweep, vacuum, dust and clean glass doors and windows, and organize catering storage areas
• Attend mandatory meetings, perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards, and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a bartender
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, wines and food and beverage products, menus and promotions
• Ability to read, speak and write English and to remember and promote menu items
• Personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance; personable, friendly and welcoming
• Ability to work independently or in a team and to take direction from a supervisor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and a working email to communicate with managers
