Bartender - Dos Equis Pavilion

About the role

Legends Global, a hospitality agency covering professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention events, is hiring a Concessions Bartender for the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas. Bartenders provide positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests, and serve drinks in line with company standards
• Mix cocktails and other bar beverages, using high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices
• Serve wine with proper service techniques, suggest wines and check guest identification for age requirements
• Work with the culinary team on mixers and garnishes, and serve food items to guests seated at the bar
• Handle an assigned bank, collect payments, balance receipts and follow cash-handling procedures
• Keep the bar stocked, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Attend mandatory meetings, perform general cleaning and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a bartender
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and to work independently or in a team
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, promotions, service standards and guest relations
• Personable, friendly and welcoming; must be able to read, speak and write English
• Working email available to communicate with managers

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and wines, and ability to create signature drinks
• Ability to serve drinks in a timely manner
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service etiquette
