About the role

Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park is hiring a Concessions Bartender. The role focuses on positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality agency that works with brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests, and serve drinks in line with company standards
• Mix cocktails and other bar beverages, using high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices
• Serve wine with proper service techniques, suggest wines and check guests' identification to verify age requirements
• Work with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes, and serve food items to guests seated at the bar
• Handle an assigned bank, collect payments, balance receipts and follow cash-handling procedures
• Keep the bar stocked, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Organize catering storage areas, attend mandatory meetings and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a bartender
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, wines and food and beverage products, menus and promotions
• Ability to work independently or in a team, listen to supervisors and communicate in English
• Personal hygiene and grooming standards; ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
• Working email to communicate with managers
