Aviation Construction Manager – Entry Level (Denver)

About the role

Woolpert is hiring an entry‑level Construction Manager to join its Aviation National team in Denver, Colorado. The role reports daily on‑site at Denver International Airport (DEN) and supports the construction of public and private aviation infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site construction management duties and document daily activities.
• Conduct quality control reviews, inspections, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract protocols.
• Review and interpret construction documents, site drawings, as‑built drawings, and specifications.
• Manage contractor schedules, material submittals, and contract administration tasks.
• Produce daily and weekly reports and communicate issues with contractors and internal teams.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management highly desirable.
• 0–3+ years of construction experience, preferably with paving, earthwork, stormwater, electrical, runway/taxiway lighting.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain an Airport Badge, and ability to work safely on airfield sites.
• 10 Hour OSHA Construction Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of construction management, inspections, contract administration, and material testing.
