The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Audit and Billing Compliance Specialist to join its Fiscal Affairs team. The role supports accurate billing practices, ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributes to the financial integrity of the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits of billing processes and financial transactions to identify discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and institutional billing regulations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with finance, clinical, and administrative departments to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain documentation and support internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants) preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
