Athletics Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

The Athletics Department at Texas A&M University is seeking a Manager of Digital Marketing to lead its email and SMS communications with fans. This role will drive revenue and engagement by creating and optimizing digital campaigns that promote attendance, ticket sales, memberships, and merchandise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and optimize email and SMS campaigns using audience segmentation, automation, personalization, A/B testing and performance analysis.
• Drive attendance, ticket sales, membership solicitation & retention (NIL Clubs, Kids’ Club, Rewards Program) and merchandise sales through targeted digital messaging.
• Collaborate daily with Marketing & Fan Experience, 12th Man Foundation, Playfly, Aggie NIL and 12th Man Creative to ensure cohesive, on‑brand communication.
• Maintain and expand the department’s year‑round email marketing calendar and stay current on best practices and privacy regulations.
• Oversee customer database management, campaign analytics and digital advertising media buys.
• Assist with content and push‑notification strategy for the 12th Man mobile app, working with third‑party vendors as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital marketing, specifically email and SMS campaign management.
• Ability to work a non‑standard schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on revenue‑driving results.
