Associate Speaker – Ministries (Jesus 101)

About the role

The Associate Speaker supports the Speaker/Director of the Jesus 101 Biblical Institute in delivering Christ‑centered teaching across multiple media platforms. This full‑time position blends ministry, content creation, and strategic planning to advance the institute’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Write, speak, and produce material for telecast, broadcast, podcasts, and social‑media channels.
• Deliver public speaking engagements and train ministers and leaders in hermeneutics and homiletics.
• Create new curriculum resources, donor letters, promotional pieces, and advertising content.
• Co‑host television and radio programs, as well as public‑relations and donor events.
• Lead strategic planning for upcoming projects and overall direction of Jesus 101.
• Manage social‑media, website, and podcast production in coordination with the Manager and Speaker/Director.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of ministry‑related experience, focused on media and evangelism.
• Ordained or commissioned Seventh‑Day Adventist minister in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree required; PhD or D.Min preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Member of the Seventh‑Day Adventist Church with a Christ‑centered biblical interpretation.

Required skills

• Social‑media management and content production for broadcast.
• Use of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and databases.
• Knowledge of not‑for‑profit accounting under U.S. GAAP.
