About the role
The Associate Retail Marketing Manager will represent the Customer Development Team, shaping retailer strategies to drive growth for Colgate‑Palmolive’s oral care, personal care and home care brands. Based in the New York office, the role works on‑site four days a week and collaborates across sales, marketing and supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute national retail strategies to improve sales, market share and financial return.
- Partner with the sales team to identify innovative opportunities for retailers.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain and other commercial functions to ensure seamless execution of brand and retail plans.
- Interface regularly with the North American Executive Team.
- Analyze business insights, historical performance of 5P activities, and emerging trends to make data‑driven recommendations.
- Allocate commercial investment to sustain and grow market share.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or related roles.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt strategies quickly.
- Strong big‑picture thinking to identify growth opportunities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with syndicated data services such as Nielsen or IRI (preferred).
- Background in consumer packaged goods (preferred).
