Associate - Partnerships and Corporate Development - Global Banking

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate to drive fintech partnerships and corporate development within its Global Banking division. You will work at the intersection of finance and technology, identifying high‑impact collaborations that accelerate growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic fintech partnerships aligned with the bank’s growth objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to uncover emerging trends and partnership opportunities.
• Engage with the fintech ecosystem to stay ahead of new developments and early‑stage opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams (product, technology, controls, legal) to integrate partnership initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
• Support negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements, ensuring compliance and commercial viability.
• Monitor partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Assist in corporate development strategies, including acquisition and investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in fintech, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across product, sales, operations, and technology.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to assess competitive landscapes and propose creative solutions.
• Experience creating business cases, evaluating revenue opportunities, and managing risk.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to translate high‑level concepts into actionable plans.
• Self‑starter who can work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
