Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development

About the role

Beeline Medicines is seeking an Associate Medical Director to lead clinical development of innovative immunology therapies. The role combines medical expertise with strategic oversight of trial design, execution, and data interpretation to advance candidates for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead medical oversight for assigned clinical trials, including protocol development, study conduct, medical monitoring, data review, interpretation, and reporting.
• Contribute to overall clinical development strategy by integrating scientific rationale, regulatory requirements, safety considerations, and business objectives.
• Design trial elements such as endpoints, eligibility criteria, dose rationale, biomarker strategy, risk‑based monitoring, and interim analysis plans.
• Monitor real‑time data collection to ensure protocol adherence and high‑quality study conduct.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities during trial execution, overseeing patient safety and adverse event reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and key opinion leaders to shape development plans and scientific deliverables.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant therapeutic area (e.g., immunology, rheumatology).
• Significant experience in clinical trial design and execution within biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex scientific concepts.
• Strong understanding of regulatory pathways and pharmacovigilance processes.
