Associate Manufacturing Tech – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Manufacturing Technician to join Celgard’s night‑shift production team in Concord, NC. The role supports the manufacturing of high‑performance membrane battery separators used in electric‑drive vehicles and energy‑storage systems. You will work 12‑hour overnight shifts under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a variety of industrial film manufacturing equipment, including extruders, laminators, ovens, deployers, slitters, coaters, mixers and core slabbers.
• Drive powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) to transport materials and finished products across the plant.
• Prepare and monitor chemical solutions, and use testing instruments to verify product quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety, environmental and health guidelines.
• Document production data and report any deviations or equipment issues.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and team meetings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attendance and safety record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

What we offer

• Starting pay of $18.50 per hour plus a $1.20 night‑shift premium.
• Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
• $1,000 sign‑on bonus (half after one week, half after six months).
