Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Clinical Track Physical Therapy

About the role

Tarleton State University’s College of Health & Clinical Professions seeks an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Clinical Track in Physical Therapy. The position supports the launch of a Doctor of Physical Therapy program and contributes to the university’s mission of teaching, research, and service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction for undergraduate and graduate physical therapy courses, both on‑campus and online.
• Develop and maintain clinical curricula aligned with accreditation standards.
• Supervise student clinical experiences and mentor students in professional development.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and conference presentations.
• Participate in departmental service, committees, and community outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
• Eligibility for academic appointment at the assistant, associate, or full professor level.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and scholarly work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary academic environment.

• Clinical expertise in physical therapy assessment and intervention.
