Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in delivering operational excellence and driving sales performance at the Beyond Yoga location in Corte Madera. This role combines hands‑on store leadership with a focus on employee engagement, customer experience, and brand representation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily store procedures, including payroll, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Assist the Store Manager in meeting sales targets, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
• Open and close the store, serve as a visible service leader, and resolve customer concerns positively.
• Lead visual merchandising according to corporate guidelines and suggest adaptations.
• Manage product receiving, transfers, price changes, markdowns, and return‑to‑vendor processes.
• Coach and develop team members, handle minor employee relations issues, and uphold company policies.
• Collaborate with Home Office and local community to drive brand awareness through events.

Required profile

• Strong retail background with experience in store operations and team leadership.
