Assistant Property Manager – Apartment Community

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join our team at the Bexley at WestRidge community in McKinney, TX. You will be the front‑line point of contact for residents and prospects, supporting daily operations and delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospects: answer leads, schedule tours, conduct community walk‑throughs, and process leasing applications and paperwork.
• Provide resident services: handle renewals, move‑ins, move‑outs, maintenance coordination, rent posting, and balance follow‑up.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to inspect units, monitor property needs, and ensure work orders are completed.
• Plan and host resident activities and assist the Property Manager with training and team goal achievement.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills – able to listen and connect warmly in person and in writing.
• Customer‑first mindset with a passion for solving problems.
• Positive, energetic attitude and a team‑oriented approach.
• Motivated, organized and adaptable to fast‑paced, shifting priorities.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to take initiative.
