Assistant Manager Community – The Gregory

About the role

The Assistant Manager Community supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Gregory community. This full‑time position is based in Porter, Texas and focuses on accurate accounting, bookkeeping, and day‑to‑day financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process invoices, payables and generate financial reports.
• Complete month‑end close‑out activities and financial statements.
• Maintain accurate records using the property management software.
• Perform account reconciliations and handle cash dispositions.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual with strong numerical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
• Experience in property‑management financial operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to generate and interpret financial reports.
