Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Soma Towers

About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor supports the upkeep of two luxury high‑rise buildings, ensuring that all physical aspects of the property meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. The role blends hands‑on technical work with resident service and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and re‑ordering as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas, pressure‑wash exterior spaces, and handle minor painting and signage tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Experience with hand and power tools, basic carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and plumbing.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation) and EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1, II, or Universal).
