About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Assistant Director of Development to serve as the primary ambassador for University Advancement. This role will lead hospitality and engagement efforts at the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center, fostering strong relationships with donors, alumni, volunteers, board members, and community partners.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead host for the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors.
- Advance alumni engagement, philanthropic support, and community relationships through strategic hospitality initiatives.
- Coordinate and support events hosted by University Advancement and external partners, maintaining high standards of service and stewardship.
- Represent the university’s values and standards in all interactions with donors, alumni, and guests.
- Collaborate with University Advancement staff to develop sponsorship opportunities and enhance donor experiences.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in alumni relations, development, or hospitality within a higher‑education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to manage events and coordinate logistics effectively.
- Commitment to upholding the university’s standards of professionalism and stewardship.
