Assistant Dining Services Coordinator

About the role

Divided Sky Foundation seeks an energetic, organized, and food‑safety‑conscious Assistant Dining Services Coordinator to support its residential recovery retreat. In this position you will plan nutritious meals, oversee dietary needs, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute seasonal, nourishing menus, including accommodations for guests with special dietary restrictions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date dietary need lists visible to all kitchen staff.
• Order food, supplies, and cleaning products while adhering to budget and dietary guidelines.
• Lead monthly hands‑on baking classes for guests.
• Oversee kitchen and dining‑room cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance.
• Act as the Dining Services Coordinator in their absence, approving time‑off requests and timesheets.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Allergen Awareness Certificate and ServSafe certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum three years experience in high‑volume institutional food service, healthcare, shelter, school, or commercial kitchen.
• First‑aid and CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
