Assistant Community Manager – The Preserve

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Preserve community. This full‑time position involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate rent collection and payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and manage dispositions.
• Process invoices, payables, and generate monthly close‑out financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records using the property management software.
• Assist with budgeting, account reconciliations, and financial analysis for the community.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a busy community environment.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi or similar).
• Experience in bookkeeping, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
