Assistant Community Manager (Property Management)

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a residential community. The role involves handling rent collections, invoicing, bank deposits, and using property‑management software to maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, review vendor charges, and ensure proper coding in the accounting system.
• Assist with resident move‑outs, lease term reviews, and disposition procedures.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve service issues, and promote resident satisfaction.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence, coordinating maintenance and daily operations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of property‑management experience, preferably with fee management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management tools.
