About the role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a stabilized residential community. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on accounting, rent collection, and reporting for a 362‑unit property.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Community Manager with daily financial operations of a 362‑unit stabilized community.
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including invoice processing, rent and fee collection, and bank deposits.
- Prepare monthly close‑out statements and financial reports using the property‑management system.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate ledger balances.
- Maintain records of all financial transactions in OneSite and Yardi.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager or in a similar property‑management support role.
- Background in customer service, leasing, and invoice/check processing.
- Proficiency with OneSite and Yardi software.
