Assistant Community Manager – Overlander Apartments

About the role

The Overlander Apartments are seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily financial and operational tasks. This role is essential for maintaining smooth resident services, accurate accounting, and overall community performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate coding in the property management system.
• Assist the leasing team with virtual and in‑person tours, and support resident move‑out procedures.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve service issues, and promote resident satisfaction.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence, coordinating maintenance and daily operations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of property management or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Yardi or OneSite property management software.
