About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Alta Rowe community in Durham, NC. This position focuses on accurate accounting, rent collection, and financial reporting to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments daily.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
- Process invoices, handle dispositions, and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly close‑out procedures and generate financial reports.
- Utilize property management software to record, track, and report all financial transactions.
- Support the Community Manager during lease‑up and ongoing community operations.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented individual comfortable handling financial data.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend duties.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounting tasks.
