Area Manager – SFO (Salary $125k-$150k)

About the role

The Area Manager for the San Francisco region will lead site operations, supervise site leads, and act as the primary client liaison. This full‑time, exempt position ensures compliance, drives growth, and maintains high standards of K9 security services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise GK9PG Site Lead (first‑line) and provide second‑line oversight for site staff.
• Serve as the primary client interface at each site and enforce all company policies.
• Manage customer relationships, coordinate new customer start‑ups, and oversee site scheduling.
• Develop and monitor training schedules to meet CETA and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle equipment inventory, badge issuance, and act as signatory authority for the company.
• Ensure compliance with training, K9 maintenance, explosive inventory, and video review requirements, documenting all actions in GlobalView.
• Oversee payroll monitoring, PTO, overtime scheduling, and end‑of‑month billing via Paycom.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, counseling, and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of K9 training or related security experience (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail and effective time‑management.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Paycom payroll system.
• Experience using GlobalView for compliance tracking.
