Area Manager – Production Operations

About the role

The Area Manager oversees all facets of production during assigned 12.5‑hour rotating shifts, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while leading a team of workers to meet weekly production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a production team during day and night shifts, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
• Own the assigned area of the plant, develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, manage the budget and meet key performance indicators.
• Participate in cross‑functional task forces focused on quality, safety, 5S and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of certifications, training and experience.
• Proven management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, thrive in a fast‑paced setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
