APRN/PA – Pediatric Cardiology – CVICU

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Pediatric Cardiology team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position supports critical care delivery for children with complex cardiac conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing or physician assistant care to pediatric patients in the CVICU.
• Collaborate with cardiology physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient assessments, medication management, and procedural support as required.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees and graduate assistants).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Appropriate APRN or PA licensure and credentials for pediatric cardiology practice.
