About the role
The Apprentice Security Installer works under the Lead Installer, building basic skills and gaining experience through hands‑on training. The role supports installation and service of security, access control, fire alarm, CCTV and integration technology on commercial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Install field devices such as cameras, alarm devices, and card readers.
- Troubleshoot systems and electronics.
- Assist in pulling low‑voltage cable and various wiring.
- Install cable in new and retrofit commercial construction environments.
- Install support structures like ladders, racks, and J‑hooks.
Required profile
- One year of electrical experience preferred.
- Basic electrical and mechanical skills.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Comfortable using electrical testing equipment.
- Reliable transportation for travel.
