Anesthesia Technician (Full-Time)

About the role

The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesiologists and the peri‑operative team across all surgical areas, ensuring safe and efficient anesthesia care before, during, and after procedures. This full‑time position contributes to Kingman Healthcare’s vision of delivering kind, high‑quality health services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support designated procedures under direct supervision of the anesthesiologist.
• Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment, performing routine maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment availability with PACU and Critical Care units.
• Manage work assignments, keep operating rooms stocked, clean, and ready for patients.
• Monitor inventory, consider budget constraints, and review supplies for expiration.
• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Paramedic program (state or national certification).
• Minimum 3 years of comparable patient‑care or emergency‑services experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Ability to stand or walk continuously, lift up to 50 lb, and assist with patient transfers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer software applications and keyboarding.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment operation, quality assurance, storage, and troubleshooting.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical ability for equipment handling.
