About the role
The Analytical Chemist I performs physical testing of raw materials at client manufacturing sites. Reporting to the GM or Director, this non‑exempt position works a typical Monday‑Friday, 40‑hour week with flexibility for project needs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform physical tests on raw materials using prescribed methods and standards.
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment and ensure reagent stocks are replenished.
- Prepare samples, conduct quality and safety checks, and record data in electronic or handwritten notebooks.
- Support quality and continuous‑improvement projects, and follow client and Bureau Veritas SOPs.
- Escalate troubleshooting issues promptly and prepare technical reports using the client LIM system.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (or equivalent education/experience).
- Knowledge of GMP regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule to support a 24/7 facility when needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Windows operating system.
- Microsoft Word.
- Microsoft Excel.
