Analyst, Energy Storage Optimization & Analytics

About the role

Daylight is seeking an Analyst to drive revenue growth and optimize performance of its Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and demand‑response programs across the United States. You will work remotely, with occasional travel to New York City, and collaborate closely with the development team to build an internal scheduling and analytics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing VPP and demand‑response participation nationwide, aligning strategies with business goals.
• Support the development of a VPP scheduling platform that integrates revenue stacking, operational constraints, and analytics.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to uncover new opportunities.
• Oversee market activities such as scheduling, dispatch, pricing strategies, and risk management to maximize asset value.
• Build operational capabilities to meet BESS warranty, degradation, and market participation requirements.
• Identify and integrate data sources for energy market forecasting, congestion analysis, and revenue modeling.
