Analyst – Asset-Backed Investments

About the role

The Analyst will be a key member of Invesco’s Structured Investments team, evaluating, selecting and positioning both public and private asset‑backed investments across a range of mutual funds, ETFs and institutional accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts on public and private ABS strategies.
• Underwrite public ABS and private asset‑backed finance investments, including consumer loans and 4a2 structures.
• Conduct market research and assist senior team members in forming investment outlooks.
• Utilize Excel, programming languages and AI for monthly credit surveillance and monitoring.
• Develop relative‑value assessments across ABS, CMBS, MBS and other structured products.
• Build relationships with loan originators and sell‑side contacts to facilitate deal flow.
• Draft investment commentary for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of underwriting experience in asset‑backed securities or private asset‑backed finance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Intex and Bloomberg data platforms.
• CFA charterholder or candidate preferred.
