Alcohol Compliance Representative

About the role

Legends Global is hiring an Alcohol Compliance Representative for the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater venue in Tinley Park. Working under the direction of management, the role ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the building in line with state and company policies, monitors staff adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy and assists with alcohol cut-off. The pay is $16.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the serving of alcohol by game day staff and ensure staff follows the alcohol service policy
• Observe and document alcohol-related issues or violations
• Assist with alcohol cut-off and perform other duties assigned by management
• Complete inventory at assigned locations
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and provide personal service to guests
• Work as a team with other service departments and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced environment; some alcohol compliance experience preferred
• Ability to interact with guests and staff, and to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Punctual, dependable, detail-oriented and able to prioritize
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, challenging and diverse environment
