Airport Manager

About the role

Avis Budget is looking for an Airport Manager to oversee all activities at its airport location in Boise, Idaho. The manager keeps the airport running smoothly and profitably, with satisfied customers and employees, covering rental counter service, vehicle rentals, sales of incremental products and the preparation of returned vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all airport activities, including customer service at the rental counter, vehicle rentals, sales of incremental products and cleaning and preparation of returned vehicles
• Plan and implement staffing schedules based on business demand and transaction levels, and oversee exempt and non-exempt personnel
• Oversee shuttling of customers between rental counters, cars and the airline terminal
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in a timely way
• Provide statistical information on transactions and revenue, assist in preparing the annual budget and monitor gasoline charges
• Implement HR policies and manage staff performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
• More than 1 year of leadership and management experience
• Preferred: experience in car/truck rental, human resources, training, customer service and general operations
• Working knowledge of P&L
• Willingness to travel
