Aircraft Manager I

About the role

Airbus Americas is seeking an Aircraft Manager I to oversee the folio management of assigned aircraft during production and flight‑test phases until handover to the delivery centre. You will analyse, steer and resolve new issues arising from assembly, non‑conformities, customer findings and flight‑line concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Document, organise and manage all non‑conformities throughout the flowline/flightline process and drive issue closure.
• Prepare and conduct FOT meetings, ensuring timely closure of folio points and non‑conformities.
• Lead aircraft documentation for internal quality gates and communicate status to receiving stations.
• Act as L1 escalation link, record escalations in Tandem and support problem‑solving.
• Generate daily MSN status reports, perform inflow analysis and distribute new points.
• Plan and lead Working Parties to resolve major aircraft issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or technical training in aviation manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience in aviation‑related fields, manufacturing planning or project management.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven problem‑solving ability and track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience building relationships with internal and external customers.
