AI Finance Operations Manager

About the role

Tread is building an AI‑native SaaS platform that optimises construction materials logistics. We are looking for an AI Finance Operations Manager to own the full revenue‑dollar journey, from forecasting and modelling to fundraising and cash‑flow management, and to embed AI‑driven workflows across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and continuously improve the company’s operating model, budget and rolling forecast, establishing it as the single source of truth for leadership.
• Own core SaaS metrics (ARR, net revenue retention, CAC, payback, gross margin, magic number, burn multiple) and surface levers that drive profitability.
• Translate ambiguous business questions—pricing, new market entry, hiring plans, large‑deal decisions—into data‑backed recommendations.
• Prepare board and investor materials, manage data rooms, and defend financial narratives.
• Partner with the CEO on fundraising, including modelling, narrative development and diligence support.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, runway analysis and scenario planning.

Required profile

• Background in investment banking, growth equity or private equity with a strong track record of financial modelling and unit‑economics analysis.
• Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or technology‑enabled business is preferred.
• Comfort operating at the executive level, influencing founders and board members.
