AI Engineer – Multiple US locations

About the role

Infosys is looking for an AI Engineer to join its Strategic Technology Group (STG). The role focuses on building and delivering AI‑driven solutions across several US locations, including Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh, NC, Richardson, TX and Tempe, AZ. You will work on large‑scale, complex technology challenges, leveraging generative and agentic AI to create high‑impact business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and use cases to ensure accurate, production‑ready delivery.
• Define design specifications, technology frameworks and reusable assets.
• Write optimized, high‑quality code for applications and databases, and debug complex routines.
• Build automation and support continuous delivery pipelines.
• Participate in knowledge‑transfer sessions and apply reverse‑engineering techniques.
• Prototype new technologies and lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong technical depth with hands‑on leadership experience.
• Ability to mentor teams and influence best practices.
• Solid architectural judgment and problem‑solving skills.
