AI Deployment Lead

About the role

Salient is looking for an AI Deployment Lead to own the post‑sales lifecycle for its largest financial‑services customers. This role goes beyond traditional customer success, requiring deep technical judgment on AI agent behavior, compliance, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own adoption, health, renewal readiness and expansion for a portfolio of strategic accounts.
• Review transcripts, audit logs, prompts, evals and integration data to explain agent behavior to compliance, operations and engineering teams.
• Triage issues across data mapping, configuration, prompt behavior and product defects, fixing simple problems and escalating complex ones with clear diagnostics.
• Write, test and deploy prompt and logic changes as customer workflows evolve.
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers on integrations, data pipelines and custom workflow logic.

Required profile

• 4+ years in a customer‑facing post‑sales, implementation, solutions, consulting or banking role.
• Strong ability to earn trust with senior stakeholders and reason through ambiguous, high‑stakes technical problems.
• Experience working with senior operations, compliance, product and engineering teams.
• Background in fintech, regulated financial services, or similar industry is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering and evaluation (evals).
• Comfort reading API documentation, webhooks, integrations, data mapping and data pipelines.
• Technical fluency to discuss architecture, failure modes and tool use with engineering teams.
