Advisory National - Cybersecurity Director

About the role

The Advisory National Cybersecurity Director will lead PwC's cybersecurity practice at a national level, shaping strategy, driving business development, and ensuring the protection of client systems and data. This senior role combines executive client management with hands‑on oversight of security initiatives and mentorship of emerging leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and frameworks for diverse client environments.
• Lead the delivery of secure system implementations, proactive data‑protection solutions, and vulnerability assessments.
• Identify and remediate security gaps, enhancing architecture and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive business growth by shaping client engagements, cultivating executive‑level relationships, and converting market opportunities into revenue.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals within the firm.
• Promote technological advances and foster an environment where people and technology thrive together.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience, including senior leadership in cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead large‑scale security programmes.
• Strong analytical thinking and familiarity with AI‑enhanced security approaches.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory for data integration and management.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and policies.
