Advanced Practice RN/PA Neuro Critical Care (Night Shift)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Neuro Critical Care team on the night shift. This full‑time position supports the delivery of high‑quality, multidisciplinary care to critically ill neuro patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit during night hours.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and manage complex medication regimens.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the United States.
• Experience in critical care, preferably neuro‑critical care.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
