About the role
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will join the Pediatric Rheumatology department at UAMS, providing expert nursing care to children with rheumatic diseases. This position supports clinical operations, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for pediatric rheumatology patients.
- Develop and implement evidence‑based care plans and administer prescribed therapies.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about disease management and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
- Document clinical findings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
