Advanced Practice Nurse – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (H/F)

About the role

This position is for an Advanced Practice Nurse (IPA) working within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry unit. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents experiencing psychological distress, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, receive, and evaluate the health status of children and adolescents with mental health issues.
• Deliver technical, relational, and educational nursing care.
• Conduct advanced practice consultations and co‑construct individualized care plans with families.
• Design, implement, and evaluate prevention, screening, and therapeutic education actions.
• Monitor adherence, effectiveness, and side effects of pharmacological and non‑pharmacological treatments.
• Prescribe or renew paraclinical examinations according to best‑practice guidelines.
• Coordinate care pathways with medical, paramedical, social, and educational actors.
• Provide information, support, and training to social, medico‑social, and educational teams.
• Participate in service, pole, and institutional projects, professional practice evaluation, research, and student training.

Required profile

• State‑registered Advanced Practice Nurse (IPA) degree.
• Theoretical knowledge in psychopathology and child‑adolescent psychiatry.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and respect the rights and freedoms of children and adolescents.
