About the role

Ochsner Health System and LSU Health Sciences Center‑Shreveport are seeking an advanced endoscopic gastroenterologist for a full‑time academic position. The role combines patient care, endoscopic procedures, and weekly teaching responsibilities within a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide weekly teaching in GI outpatient clinics and supervise residents and fellows.
Perform endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and EUS, in the onsite endoscopy center.
Deliver inpatient gastroenterology consult services.

Required profile

MD/DO (or foreign equivalent) with board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
Eligibility for active Louisiana medical licensure.
Broad knowledge of gastroenterological diseases and a commitment to scholarly activity.
