About the role
Join the State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as an Administrative Support professional at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. You will provide essential clerical and secretarial services that keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as licensing, personnel, purchasing, records management, and inventory control.
- Provide clerical support including typing, filing, ordering supplies, sorting mail, data entry, and operating standard office equipment.
- Assist with processing transactions, reviewing applications, scheduling training and facility maintenance, reconciling financial records, and collecting program fees.
- Support an upper‑level manager with secretarial duties and may train subordinate staff on day‑to‑day procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least three years of progressively complex office or administrative experience.
- Ability to pass required drug screening, TB evaluation, and annual influenza vaccination (exemptions may apply).
