Adjunct Vocational Nursing Instructor (Alhambra Campus)

About the role

Stanbridge University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Vocational Nursing courses on the Alhambra campus. The position offers flexible scheduling for experienced clinicians who wish to share their expertise with future entry‑level nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theory and clinical instruction using approved course materials.
• Develop engaging instructional strategies that promote clinical judgment.
• Evaluate student competency against academic and clinical standards.
• Lead pre‑ and post‑clinical conferences and facilitate reflective practice.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and performance.

Required profile

• Current, active California RN or LVN license.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience within the past five years.
• At least one year of acute‑care experience in the past five years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred.
