Adjunct Spanish Instructor (Dual Enrollment)

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Central Georgia Technical College, is seeking a qualified Adjunct Spanish Instructor to deliver dual‑enrollment Spanish courses. The position will support both in‑person and online learning environments, beginning in the Fall 2026 term.

Key responsibilities

• Provide associate‑level Spanish instruction in classroom and virtual settings.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and course materials aligned with approved curricula.
• Assess student progress through testing, grading, and maintaining accurate grade books.
• Mentor and support other adjunct faculty within the Spanish discipline.
• Participate in professional development, program meetings, and accreditation activities.
• Travel as needed within the college’s service area and to on‑site locations.

Required profile

• Current Bibb County Board of Education employee status.
• Ability to teach all phases of the Spanish curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compliance with Technical College System of Georgia policies and accreditation standards.

Required skills

• Spanish language proficiency at associate‑level teaching standards.
