Adjunct Instructor – Fixed-Term

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors to join its faculty on a fixed‑term basis. This position offers the opportunity to teach undergraduate or graduate courses within a supportive, high‑impact learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned courses, including lectures, labs, and discussion sections.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with university standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide timely feedback and hold office hours to support student learning.

Required profile

• At least a master’s degree in the relevant academic discipline; terminal degree preferred for some fields.
