About the role
The Adjunct Instructor will teach courses in the Air Conditioning Technology program, delivering content across face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats. The position supports student success and aligns instruction with established learning outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare weekly lesson plans that meet Student Learning Outcomes for each course.
- Develop and maintain course content in the Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Assess student progress, assign grades, and keep accurate attendance records.
- Request and manage supplies and equipment needed for the learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with institutional, TCSG, and accreditation standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred Bachelor’s degree).
- Three or more years of recent, relevant HVAC field experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong commitment to student success initiatives.
Required skills
- HVAC systems knowledge and air‑conditioning technology expertise.
- Proficiency with Blackboard Learning Management System.
