Adjunct Faculty – Kinesiology & Rehabilitative Science

About the role

The Kinesiology and Rehabilitative Science (KRS) department seeks experienced, well‑organized, student‑centered individuals to teach undergraduate and graduate courses across its concentrations. Faculty will develop syllabi, deliver instruction, and foster an engaging learning environment that supports student success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop or modify course syllabi, select textbooks, and create assessment methods that meet TU standards.
• Deliver instruction on scheduled class days, including final exams or other assessments.
• Collaborate with other faculty for team‑taught or co‑requisite courses.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain regular communication with students throughout the semester.
• Submit course data for program assessment and respond to communications from students, faculty, and administrators.

Required profile

• Minimum of a master’s degree in a Kinesiology‑related field or a specialized certification for activity classes.
• Subject‑matter expertise in the specific course content to be taught.
• Professional license or certification in the content area if required, and relevant professional experience.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and other program requirements.
