Adjunct Faculty – Doctor of Business Administration (Remote)

About the role

Walden University is seeking experienced business scholars to join its faculty as adjunct instructors for the Doctor of Business Administration program. This remote, part‑time position involves teaching and mentoring capstone students in a distance‑learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and mentor DBA capstone students, providing timely feedback and guidance.
• Maintain regular communication with students, posting substantive discussion contributions and responding to inquiries within 48 hours.
• Evaluate student submissions, assign grades, and ensure academic standards are upheld.
• Participate in mentor training and collaborate with fellow faculty members.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience teaching and mentoring business doctoral students online.
• Active engagement in scholarly or professional business activities within the past five years.
• Proficiency with APA 7th edition formatting and citation standards.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Microsoft 365 tools and Walden’s Learning Management System.
• Adobe Acrobat and zip/compression software.
• Reliable high‑speed internet access.
